This is where I left behind table-based layouts for clean separate content and layout structure with standard compliant CSS and XHTML.

New sections like the research guides, brand pages, and shop by vehicle were added to the site after being hand coded in XHTML and their layout was taken care of with separate CSS. Older pages such as the help section and shopping guide pages were revisited and their code was updated with the same standards.

The site's expansion and growth combined with the improved design and usability helped double the company's sales during a 2-year period.

The email campaigns were also hand-coded using best practices for sending email to customers. I created the html templates that the designer would use to create each week's email.
